Give A Hand ‧ 並肩同行計劃

各位朋友，

四月十四日在青海玉樹發生的地震，直至現在已經有二千多人死亡，失去了家人、家園的更有二十萬人。除了這次地震，還有冰島火山爆發、台灣山崩、馬頭圍道塌樓、海地地震、四川地震……天災人禍不斷發生。這些我們一一都在電視報章上看過聽過，除了為受災的他們感到難過，我們還可以做甚麼呢？

面對災難，在這緊急的關頭，我們很想可以一起向還在困境中的朋友伸出援手。totit自知一角幾毫不能幫上很多忙，但若我們能找多幾個人，他們又再多找幾個人，團結的力量就更大了。

如果你願意回應，這是我們可以一起去做的：

• 請在30/4-13/5這兩個星期內捐出最少一百八十元(HK$180)或更多的善款到指定慈善團體（為確保你的善款真的可以鎮災，我們選了幾個指定的團體。詳情在下面的資料可找到。）；
• 並把捐款證明（如銀行轉賬單據，慈善團體發的單據等等）電郵到mail@totit-home.com；
• 我們很想用一個我們畫的布袋作回應，以感謝你為災民的付出，款式可在我們現存的貨品裡揀。

一個人的力量可能真的不夠，正如totit可以做的實在很少，但當我們每人都付出我們有的那少少力，我們可以為遠處在災難中的朋友帶來一點改變。希望你可以獻出你的愛心，參與Give A Hand計劃，幫助有需要的人，與他們並肩同行！

Dear friends,

We've all heard of the earthquake that happened in Qinghai on the 14th April. Up till now, more than 2000 people died and two hundred thousand people have lost their families and their homes.  But their ordeal is just one of the many we experienced in recent months. We are aware of other disasters around the world - the volcanic eruption on Iceland, the landslide in Taiwan, the building collapse on Ma Tau Wai Road, Haiti earthquake, Sichuan earthquake.  We watch such news every day. We read about them on the papers.  What else can we do besides feeling sorry for them? 

Feeling obliged to DO something, we would like to ask YOU to join us in giving them a helping hand 

• MAKE a relief DONATION of HK$180 or more to recognized organizations (we have chosen a few organizations that can ensure your money reach the needy. See the list below. ) within the 2-week period from 30/4 to 13/5,
• EMAIL the bank receipt/donation receipt to mail@totit-home.com.  
• And RECEIVE one of our handdrawn bags free as a token of our thanks for your contribution. You may choose one from the existing bags that we have.

Our individual contribution may seem too small to matter, but if many of us contribute in our own small way, it adds up. What totit can do is little, but together with you we can make a difference to someone.  Please join the Give A Hand project, show our friends that are still suffering your love and care and be their companion on their road of recovery.
